As a child I spent a large portion of my time in a world of characters and books.  Literature, and writing sustained and nourished my communion with human struggle, hope, fear, failure, and triumph.  I also spent a significant portion of my time as a young adult volunteering to improve the lives of others, but it wasn't until I was about to receive my undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut that I put it all together; I am a healer at heart.

I received my Master of Social Work degree at Salem State University in 2012.  Before going into private practice I spent 5 years working as an intensive in-home family therapist, and 2 years at a community clinic with children and adults with significant mental health challenges.

I feel so fortunate and humbled to do this intimate work everyday.  When I have free time I find myself back in the world of books. I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, being outside, spending as much time as possible with my loved ones, and hanging out with my fabulous feline friend Matilda (Tilly).
